Bio:

Michael comes to Cypress Residential Group with an extensive portfolio of accomplishments. Born and raised in Lexington and having lived here for more than 30 years, Michael has an arsenal of knowledge about the area that make him an excellent agent for those relocating to the city or even just moving across town. His devotion to achieving a positive, successful experience for his clients are the driving factor behind his hard-working attitude.

Michael is also a big time sports fan; so much that he earned both a bachelors and masters degree in Athletic Management from EKU and served as an Athletic Director for 5 years before his days as a real estate agent. Though he’s no longer in the sports industry, he’s still a dedicated sports fan and never misses a UK football or basketball game. Just ask Michael what his favorite day of the week is, and he will say, “Gameday!”

Not only is Michael a great Realtor, he also loves serving the community. His professional motto is “Care for people before profit,” and one way he demonstrates this idea is through his service to the UK Children’s Hospital. Michael has been a spokesperson for the hospital for the past 7 years, presenting to fundraising groups and boards as well as on radio shows and TV. His efforts in raising awareness for the hospital’s programs have been a great testimony to his love for people and especially children.

Above all else, Michael would tell you that his most treasured accomplishments are having been a loving husband for 11 years and father to his 7-year-old daughter. Michael and his wife are also expecting another baby this summer, and we wish them all the best.
